In my Web Design and Production class at Cal Poly, I was assigned to redesign a local business’ website and branding. I chose to redesign Sally Loo’s Wholesome Cafe—a cute and cozy cafe located in downtown San Luis Obispo. I met with the owners, Brandon and Jen Manuele, as well as their two-year-old daughter, (unfortunately I didn’t meet their two Pit Bulls) and got to hear their story and what gives Sally Loo’s its sweet personality.

In this website redesign and rebranding, I wanted to tell the sweet Manuele’s story and incorporate their warm, kindred spirits that make Sally Loo’s one of the most charming and popular breakfast spots in SLO. I achieved this design with a warm-gold color scheme, hand illustrations, and captured detailed imagery.
